Draft for review · October 22, 2026

Welcome to Scout

These terms describe your use of Scoutpal (“Scout”), our website and AI assistant. By using Scout, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Using Scout responsibly

Provide accurate information and submit only contact details you are entitled to use. Do not use Scout for unlawful activity, harassment, spam, impersonation, or attempts to access other people’s data or disrupt the service.

AI responses

Scout uses AI, which can produce inaccurate or incomplete responses. Check information before relying on it, especially for important decisions. Scout is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice. Do not send passwords, payment details, or other highly sensitive information.

Your content and other services

You retain ownership of content you provide. You permit us to process that content to provide the features you request. Scout relies on third-party services for messaging, AI, hosting, and email; those services may also have their own terms.

Availability and responsibility

Scout is provided on an “as available” basis. We cannot promise uninterrupted service or error-free results. We may restrict access for misuse or to protect the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Information you provide

If you previously joined Scout’s waitlist, we collected your first name, last name, email address, and optional phone number. We store your signup date and confirmation reference. If you use the assistant, we process the messages and images you send to generate replies.

How information is used

We retain previous signup details to manage those registrations and related communications. Messages and images are processed to provide assistant responses. We also use operational logs to diagnose failures and protect the service. Email logs include the recipient address and sending status.

Service providers

Signup information is stored using Supabase. Mailjet processes recipient details and email content to send confirmation emails. When you use messaging and AI features, providers such as Twilio, WhatsApp, and Groq process the information needed to deliver messages and generate responses. Their processing is also governed by their own privacy policies.

Website resources

Our website loads images from Cloudinary. Your browser connects to that provider when loading those images, which can disclose technical information such as your IP address and browser details.

Storage and security

We use server-side credentials and access controls to protect information. No system can guarantee complete security. Information may be processed in countries where our providers operate. Retention periods and any applicable international transfer arrangements must be confirmed before this draft is finalized.

Your choices

You can choose not to provide the optional phone number or not to use the assistant. Depending on applicable law, you may be able to request access, correction, or deletion of your information and withdraw consent to future communications. Public contact details and the request process will be added before this draft is finalized.

Policy updates

We will update this policy as Scout develops and show the updated date here. We will communicate material changes where required.
